As a violin maker, you should know some basic information. I started building violins 30 years ago. I had several years of expert traditional education on building violins with violin makers, 10 years experience on restoration and violin repair, 22 years ago I built a Plexiglas Violin using a hand custom made dual hum bucker electromagnetic pickup.
You should also know in addition to building violins, I am a professional violinist with a 4 year degree in music. Played 2 years in the Erie Philharmonic and have a passion for rock music. This is a distinct advantage over other competitors because I have an understanding of what technical skills musicians want to use and some they may not be aware of wanting to use. You Tube is a great tool for me to use to convey and help out our customers.
